Enhance your performance while decreasing your recovery time by rehydrating, rebuilding and replenishing. Athletic performances drain the body of its natural hydration and nutrients, in addition to putting stress on it. The Athletic Performance IV infusion provides a mix of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, all designed to boost your performance, improve your strength, reduce fatigue and shorten recovery time.

Ingredients

Ascorbic Acid

Also known as Vitamin C, is an antioxidant that plays an important role in the body. It not only protects the body’s cells from damage, but it is also needed to maintain the health of skin, teeth, bone, cartilage, and blood vessels. Ascorbic acid can act as an antioxidant that may help protect cells from free-radical damage, absorb iron, create collagen and boost immunity.

B1

Vitamin B1, also known as thiamin, or thiamine, enables the body to use carbohydrates as energy. It is essential for glucose metabolism, and it plays a key role in nerve, muscle, and heart function.

B2

B2, also called riboflavin, is one of 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body to convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B-complex vitamins, also help the body metabolize fats and protein.

B3

B3, also known as Niacin, is an important nutrient. In fact, every part of your body needs it to function properly. B3 may help lower cholesterol, ease arthritis, and boost brain function, among other benefits.

B5

Also known as Pantothenic Acid. Helps turn the food you eat into the energy you need. It’s important for many functions in the body, especially making and breaking down fats.

B6

B6, also known as Pyridoxine, is required by your body for utilization of energy in the foods you eat, production of red blood cells, and proper functioning of nerves. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency resulting from poor diet, certain medications, and some medical conditions.

Glutamine

An energy source for intestinal and immune cells. It also helps maintain the barrier between the intestines and the rest of your body and aids with the proper growth of cells. Glutamine is the main fuel source for your body’s lymphocytes, white blood cells that fight infection and disease.

Arginine

An amino acid that is made in the body naturally. As a supplement, it may help with several conditions, from migraines to inflammation.

Ornithine

Commonly used by mouth for improving athletic performance. It is also used for weight loss, wound healing, and to increase sleep quality.

Lysine

It appears to help the body absorb calcium, and it plays an important role in the formation of collagen, a substance important for bones and connective tissues including skin, tendons, and cartilage.

Citrulline

Boosts nitric oxide production in the body. Nitric oxide helps your arteries relax and work better, which improves blood flow.

Carnitine

Plays a critical role in energy production. It transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria so they can be oxidized (“burned”) to produce energy. It also transports the toxic compounds generated out of this cellular organelle to prevent their accumulation.

Magnesium Chloride

This is a mineral that is important in maintaining the function of our nerves, cells, bones, muscles, and heart. Magnesium chloride can help improve immunity, decrease risk of developing migraines, improve relaxation, and more.

Zinc

A nutrient found throughout your body, helps your immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to wound healing and your sense of taste and smell.

Manganese

Helps the body form connective tissue, bones, blood-clotting factors, and hormones. It also plays a role in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption, and blood sugar regulation. Manganese is also necessary for normal brain and nerve function.

Copper

Works with iron to help the body form red blood cells. It also helps keep the blood vessels, nerves, immune system, and bones healthy. Copper also aids in iron absorption.

Selenium

A nutrient that the body needs to stay healthy. Selenium is important for reproduction, metabolism, DNA production, and protecting the body from damage caused by free radicals and from infection.
